Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Significant experience working with the Esri ArcGIS Platform (i.e., ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGIS Online).
- Experience with ArcGIS Online and/or Portal to publish project sensitive data within custom web maps and applications for consumption by project teams, the client and/or public.
- Experience configuring Esri mobile data collection applications (e.g., ArcGIS Collector/Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey123, QuickCapture) to meet a wide variety of project field data collection needs.
- Proficient in both vector and raster data management and analysis techniques.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to perform work accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and understand how assigned tasks relate to overall project goals.
- Ability to working in a multi office team environment.
- Ability to work with a variety of people and professions with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in GIS, geology, geomatics, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, or related field with demonstrated GIS training or coursework.
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated professional work experience performing GIS tasks. An equivalent combination of recent education and job experience may be sufficient to successfully perform the essential job duties.
- Demonstrated skills in python scripting will be considered valuable.
- Prior experience within a consulting environment will be considered valuable.
- Specific experience providing GIS services within the Floodplain Mapping, Environmental Services, Power & Dams, Mining, and Oil and Gas industry sectors will be considered a strength but is not required.
