Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Working knowledge of local government organizational structure, accounting / financial reporting, and types of services they provide is preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel required including quantitative modeling and analysis required.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro and other business systems preferred. GIS experience is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. - Capable of efficiently working independently as well as with a geographically dispersed team. 
  • Willing to travel as needed. In the first year, travel may be up to 20%. 
  • As you develop your skills for success and become a crucial part of the project team, travel requirements may increase.

Education and Experience: 

  • Degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, engineering, accounting, or related fields are required with a suitable GPA of 3.25 or higher.
  • Preferably 1 year or more of post-undergraduate working experience required, experience in management consulting and financial analysis.
