Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Strong background of food process systems and sanitary design.
  • Working knowledge of standards and regulations for food plants such as FDA, USDA, Dairy 3A
  • Able on to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with both clients and project team members, with a strong customer service attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining project files and information received from clients and vendors.
  • Basic understanding of task hour estimating and being accountable for personal hour budgets.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done.
  • Able to travel regionally, conduct short overnight trips, or other
  • Passion for implementing new technologies such as 3D scanning, VR/AR, and Digital Twin, into projects

Education and Experience

  • Four-year (minimum) degree in an appropriately related discipline, such as Chemical Engineering, Bioproducts Engineering, Food Engineering, etc.
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Indoor (Office Environment) Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting. Noise level varies but generally at levels of conversation. Majority of time spent using a computer/laptop at a workstation and related office equipment. Time spent carrying, reaching, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 9 kilograms / 20 pounds Occasional – 1-33% of shift. Subject to extended periods of sitting; may be required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk short to moderate distances to perform work. Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment if needed.
