Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Previous consulting experience required.
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Understand environmental engineering/science concepts and effectively communicate ideas to others.
- Be willing to learn new skills while working independently for long hours and be flexible in undertaking work assignments.
- Be able to build and maintain productive networking relationships within your team, office, and region.
- Proficient in interpreting sketches, drawings, and other similar material.
- Highly motivated and dependable.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
- A proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS experience a plus).
- Willingness to travel and conduct field work in potentially remote areas for extended periods, including overnight travel, is expected for this position.
- Typical field work environments require the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time on uneven terrain, lift and move items and equipment at least 25 pounds, and climb a ladder.
- Current 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training a plus.
- Must have a safe driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Education and Experience
- BS in Geology, Environmental Science, and/or Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering or related Earth Sciences
- A minimum of 3-5 years of consulting experience required
- Working knowledge of environmental and health/safety regulations
