Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Working knowledge of the principles of civil/geotechnical or geological engineering.
- Willing and able to travel, both nationally and internationally, to conduct field investigation or construction quality oversight type work.
- Anticipated percentage of assigned field-based work and office-based work is anticipated to be 30% and 70%, respectively for the first two years.
- Some exposure to or knowledge of numerical modeling and finite element analysis, and computer aided design drafting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Sound organizational, technical, written, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
- Prior engineering internship experience working in a consulting capacity is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Education and Experience
- 0-3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required, Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
- Candidate should either possess an EIT, or be able to apply for an EIT in the next 6 months
