Geotechnical Engineer

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience within the dams industry is preferred.
  
• Working knowledge of the principles of civil/geotechnical and geological engineering. Previous exposure to soft soil, rock mechanics and seismic topics is preferred.
  
• Willing and able to travel, both nationally and internationally, to conduct field investigation or construction quality oversight type work.
  
• Exposure to or knowledge of numerical modeling and finite element analysis, and computer aided design drafting.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint software.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Sound organizational, technical, written, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
  
• Prior engineering experience working in a consulting capacity is a plus.
  
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  

Education and Experience

• 5-7 years of experience
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering focus preferred); Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
  
• PE preferred
