Geotechnical Field Technician Student

- Energetic, team oriented player with a commitment to superior client service.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and to communicate effectively with technical and management personnel remotely.
- Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, 6 days per week (weekend and overtime work will be required).
- Available to work on out of town projects, typically 1 to 2 weeks but as long as 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- CCIL/CSA certification for concrete field and laboratory testing is required. Training will be provided in order to receive the certification.
Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution. Experience is not a requirement. Training will be provided.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Some time will be spent in a typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
