GIS Analyst

Your Preferred Capabilities and Credentials

• Knowledge of FEMA Risk MAP Program and/or FEMA’s CNMS
• Significant knowledge of geospatial concepts and data processing techniques
• Significant experience with ESRI software suite including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Enterprise
• Experience with publishing data and configuring web apps on the ArcGIS Online platform.
• Experience creating solutions using ArcGIS platform applications including Field Maps, Survey 123, Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, and Dashboards.
• Understanding of Python routines using the ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python libraries.
• Ability to work in diverse work setting, within team environments, and independently as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel for projects and assignments; typical duration a few days including occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to working in a multi office team environment.
• Ability to work with a variety of people and professions with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly via, phone, instant message, email, and in person, to both internal and external clients.
• Ability to adapt to change in deadlines, project scope, and tasks. 
• Maintain high regard for personal safety and safety of others.

Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in GIS, Geospatial Technology, Geospatial Science, Geography, or related field.

·         Preferred 1-3 years of experience or recent graduate with applicable internship or co-op during their undergraduate program.

·         Position will primarily be in an office setting, with potential occasional field work.
