GIS Analyst

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Modern office equipment;

• Microsoft Office Suite;

• GIS data sources, concepts, principals, cartography, projections, coordinate systems, transformations and geography;

• GPS equipment;

• CAD file types and integration into and out of GIS;

• LiDAR data and processing;

• Aerial survey techniques;

• Web and mobile map application development is an asset;

• Mobile data collection techniques and applications (e.g., Survey 123, Collector for ArcGIS) is an asset;

• Python Scripting is an asset;

• ArcGIS Pro 2.x is an asset

3D Visualization and analysis is an asset

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geology, Geography, Geomatics Engineering or a related field and 2 - 6 years of GIS experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Experience in database design and development is preferred.  Experience in consulting field preferred.

Position will work in both a field and office setting.
