What does a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in the Geotechnical team do?
Our Geosciences team is an integrated geotechnical engineering, hydrogeological and environmental consultant to a wide range of clients working on infrastructure and developments, both for private and public entities across Australia.
Day to day tasks would involve:
· Plan, coordinate and manage site investigations to deliver geotechnical investigative reports - including interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis and making recommendations.
· Undertaking geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls
· Contribute to the delivery of projects, ensuring work outputs are of a high technical standard
· Assist with interpretation and analysis of data to develop and implement practical and commercial solutions
· Managing key projects from start to finish in line with project specifications

About you:
· Geotechnical Engineering degree or Civil Engineering degree with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies
· Interest in field geotechnical investigations including logging and supervision of geotechnical drilling activities
· A demonstrated passion for working in the geotechnical engineering discipline
· Eligible to work in Australia
· Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years of experience
