Healthcare Project Manager
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Proven delivery of successful Healthcare projects with OSHPD/HCAI and City jurisdictions.
- Ability to engage in creative and critical thought.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong understanding of project financials.
- Ability to work on and lead multiple projects concurrently.
- Check work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage team to meet project budget and schedule.
- Lead one or more teams on projects through the development of design concepts.
- Interpret sketches, drawings, codes, building program and other similar materials.
- Maintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases, participating in marketing, client and owner presentations as required
- General understanding of accessibility codes, applicable building codes, and life-safety codes to a wide variety of project scopes and complexity.
- General knowledge of building construction systems, constructability, materials, and industry associated standards.
- Understands and can coordinate the relationship between drawings and specifications.
- Require proficiency in Revit. Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite. Require understanding and ability to use Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, PlanGrid, AutoCAD and Newforma
- Participate in on-site project team setting.
- Ability to travel up to 20% if needed.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred
- California Licensure preferred or working towards California licensure required.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience with healthcare or institutional clients.
- Demonstrated interest in leading and owning aspects of the project, including engaging with other project partners such as clients and contractors.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
