Integrated Water Management Intern - Summer 2024

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills for working on multi-disciplinary teams of project managers, project engineers and staff, clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors.
  
• Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
  

Education and Experience

• In progress toward a Master’s degree (minimum) in environmental management or analysis, sustainability or resilience studies, public policy (environmental or natural resources focus), or environmental economics, or similar; with a minimum of 1 year of related undergraduate coursework or work experience.
  
• Cover Letter 
• Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following:
  
  • Quantitative and/or qualitative environmental analysis
    
  • Development of criteria to evaluate ecosystem performance or health.
    
  • Public policy related to sustainability, natural resources, or climate adaptation.
    
  • Economic and political context of water provision in California.
