Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking Integrity Engineers-in-Training (EIT) to join our Integrity Team in Calgary or Edmonton.

The primary role of the Integrity EIT is to support Project Engineers, Team Leads and Managers working on Asset Integrity related projects such as the following: NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) QA/QC, In-Line-Inspection (ILI) assessments and tool validation, and other integrity related assessments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support Asset Reliability, Facilities Integrity and NDE/ILI programs as required.
  • Perform data integration and management, calculations, analysis and report preparation.
  • Clearly communicate and maintain positive relationships with peers and clients.
  • Manage time effectively and complete tasks within defined timelines.
  • Execute work in accordance with appropriate standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Adhere to Client and Stantec Quality procedures.
  • Compliance with Stantec’s EH&S program.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Registered EIT with APEGA (or eligible for registration).
  • Strong technical proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Sound interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to evaluate existing work processes and recommend improvements based on technical proficiency.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, practices, and applicable legislation.
  • Familiarity with assessment procedures laid out in ASME B31G and CSA Z662.
  • Experience with engineering drawings (e.g., PFDs, MFDs, P&IDs, etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience with Excel, VBA, Python, R, data management, digital tool development, and AI Machine Learning is an asset.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering disciplines: e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Energy, Materials, etc.
  • Previous work experience related to the Integrity industry is an asset.
  • Entry level
