Interior Design Coordinator

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Engage in creative and critical thought.
• Produce design at a level that would be perceived externally as excellent.
• Hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively.
• Participate in a project team setting.
• Lead one or more teams on small projects through the development of interior design concept.
• Check work of others for accuracy and completion and manage team to meet project budget and schedule.
• Interpret sketches, drawings, codes, project program and other similar material.
• Present abstract ideas to the client.
• Apply accessibility codes, applicable building codes, and life-safety codes to a wide variety of project scopes and complexity.
• General understanding of the relationship between drawings and specifications.
• Requires understanding and implementation skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, Newforma, most recent modeling software.
• Must have good driving record with valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Interior Design or related field & Licensed Interior Designer. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience. LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
