Intermediate Environmental Assessment and Permitting Practitioner
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledgeable of and experience with federal and/or provincial permitting requirements; specifically, in completing applications under the Water Sustainability Act (Section 11), Fisheries Act, and Wildlife Act
- Practical knowledge of environmental mitigation and best management practices
- Client-focused, positive attitude with demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Indigenous and public engagement experience
- Ability to coordinate technical professionals
- Strong project schedule and financial management skills
- Keen interest in building effective networks, interacting with clients, and fostering long-term relationships that contribute to our business
- Committed to providing quality deliverables in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a team setting, accept responsibility, and meet deadlines
Education and Experience
Bachelor or graduate degree in environmental, physical science, or engineering-related discipline
Five (5) years of experience focusing on environmental assessments/permitting
Has obtained or is eligible for a professional designation in British Columbia (e.g., R.P.Bio., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag.)
Experience carrying projects through the BCEAA, CEAA 2012/IAA, or NEB/CER environmental assessment processes
