Your Key Qualifications
- Post-secondary training, course work, diploma or degree pertaining to environmental technology.
- Solid working knowledge of sampling techniques (soil, groundwater, vapour, surface water, sediment), as well as testing/sampling protocols.
- Proven ability to supervise/manage contractors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including MS Office skills.
- Strong note-taking skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems in the field, with the support of a project manager.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment is crucial.
- Three to five years of experience in contaminated sites investigation/remediation would be considered an asset.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Secondary skills in other environmental services and multidisciplinary work would be a valued asset.
