About the role
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Hydraulic Engineer to join our busy and friendly Perth buildings team. The successful candidate will have design consultancy experience and be able to apply their technical skills and demonstrate commitment in a way which ensures projects are thoroughly designed, reviewed and delivered on time.

We are looking for someone that is able to work on a wide range of projects with an ability to manage workload on several projects at different stages of completion.

Day to day tasks would involve: 
•    Support the design, planning and delivery of Hydraulic engineering assessment and calculations of a wide range of healthcare, commercial, data centres, retail, defence, industrial and educational building projects.
•    Support Project Technical Leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard.
•    Conduct Site inspections, monitoring installations, testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
•    Contribute to tender submissions and project reporting
•    Bring value to in-house design/project meetings 
•    Adhere to Stantec professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures

To be successful for this role you'll need:
•    Be degree qualified in an engineering discipline 
•    Ideally have 2 – 6 + years previous building hydraulic design engineering experience 
•    Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards  
•    Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD or other similar industry software
•    Willingness to establish and maintain client relationships to formulate repeat opportunities
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines 
•    Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
