Intermediate Structural Engineer, Buildings

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• General knowledge and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes (ex. OBC, A23.3, S16, S304, O86)
• General understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications
• General knowledge of structural systems, means & methods of construction, and materials
• Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
• General understanding of structural engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of Component Design Software and Building Analysis Software. Experience with SAFE, SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, and/ or MASS preferred
• A self-starter who is innovative and enjoys working in a team environment
  

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Structural/ Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineer in good standing with PEO
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in consulting within a buildings Structural team
