Stantec's Houston, TX office has an opportunity for a Chemical Engineering Intern to join their Water practice. Stantec’s Industrial Water team is a dynamic team of experts working across a wide range of industries including power, semiconductors, manufacturing, and food & beverage.

The successful candidate will:

·         Assist the local project delivery team with report and documentation preparation, project administration, and research assistance

·         Develop spreadsheet calculations to support team

·         Develop process engineering documents including flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), engineering lists, process data sheets, and performance specifications

·         Write documents summarizing work performed

·         Meet schedule requirements

·         Perform site inspections, construction observations, start up and commissioning support, and report preparation

·         Assist with project permit applications, preparations, and processing

·         Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes

·         Other duties as assigned
