Intern Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Demonstrated experience in the preparation of landscape and construction drawings;
• High proficiency in AutoCAD;
• Proficiency working in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with 3D rendering software an asset (Sketch-up, Lumion, Enscape, etc.);
• Freehand plan, section, and vignette sketching would be considered an asset;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong time management, critical thinking and organizational skills;
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, planting methods and local plant material;
• Be a self-starter and motivated individual to successfully complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Local and regional travel is expected, and the successful applicant shall supply their own vehicle.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design Diploma, or completion of an accredited landscape architecture education program from a recognized educational institution.
• Working experience in the field of Landscape Design or Landscape Architecture is considered an asset. 

This position will primarily work in an office setting however, some field work will be required.
