Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Eligibility for registration as a Professional Biologist with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists is considered an asset
- Strong technical writing skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal skills, effective verbal and presentation skills
- Ownership and initiative– takes pride in work, accountable for completing tasks on time and budget, proactively looks for new solutions
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, likes “troubleshooting”
Education and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Science OR Related Degree
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience (consulting experience is considered an asset)
- Experience conducting aquatic assessments/inventories, construction monitoring, reclamation assessments
- Experience and interest in terrestrial ecology is an asset.
