Junior Electrical Engineer, or Junior Electrical Technician/Technologist

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience in the Engineering consulting industry is an asset.
• Familiarity with the Engineering design process is an asset
• Familiarity with Electrical and Building codes is an asset
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit software packages for drafting / design of Electrical systems is an asset
• Familiarity with Lighting Simulation software such as Dialux, AGI, or Visual is an asset
• Familiarity with Power simulation software such as ETap is an asset
• Demonstrable initiative on tasks and in leading / influencing members of a team are an asset
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrable ability to work under and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrable ability to formulate sound opinions based on available data is an asset
• Interest in Building Engineering systems

Education and Experience

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical
• Technologies, Integrated Engineering, Engineering Physics, Drafting, and/or a related
• field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Already has government security clearance or the ability to pass security clearance in Canada is a requirement.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
