Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Demonstrated knowledge of various federal, provincial, and municipal legislation (e.g., Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, Water Act, Pipeline Act, Canadian Environmental Protection Act, Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, National Energy Board Act, and related regulations)
- Strong technical writing skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal skills, effective verbal and presentation skills
- Ownership and initiative – takes pride in work, accountable for completing tasks on time and budget, proactively looks for new/innovative solutions
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; likes “troubleshooting”
Education and Experience
Have a BSc or MSc in science or a related discipline from a recognized university
2+ years of relevant professional experience
Consulting experience is considered an asset
Office environment with prolonged sitting and computer work, or combination of office and field.
Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
