Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 2-4 years’ experience with groundwater analysis, modeling, or field work
- Experience with hydrogeological characterization work including aquifer test design and analysis and technical report writing
- Experience in drilling and installing wells/piezometers
- Excellent organizational, technical, leadership, written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with hydrogeological modeling software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW or AQTESOLV is an asset
- Experience with programming languages including Python, VBA, or SQL is considered an asset
- Knowledge of database software platforms is considered an asset
- Must pass drug test, background check, physical, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in the field in semi-remote locations
Education and Experience
- 2-4 + years of experience as a Hydrogeologist or Water Resource Engineer
- Minimum of a B.Sc. in Geoscience, Engineering, Math, Physics (or related field) is required with M.Sc. preferred
- Alberta Geologist-in-Training (GIT) or Engineer-in-Training professional registration is preferred, but not required
