Junior Transportation Analyst
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledge of travel demand modeling concepts and typical application procedures.
- Experience with transportation softwares such as VISSIM, Cube, TransCAD, VISUM, HCS, Synchro, or Legion is a plus
- Experience with large databases, dashboard development, and related softwares (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with computer programming (such as C and Python)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with GIS software is a plus.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, City and Regional Planning, Operations Research, or related discipline
- A masters' degree is a plus
- 1-2 years work experience in transportation engineering or planning is a plus
