Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent design, graphic, computer, written, and verbal communication skills who is comfortable managing production and design workflow for small teams on a wide variety of projects.
- Candidates should have a understanding and knowledge of Texas plant materials and construction methods.
- Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Land-FX, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of construction document preparation, and familiarity with plant materials suited to Texas, in addition to possessing proficient hand drafting and sketching abilities resulting in strong conceptual designs.
- The successful candidate is highly motivated and passionate about design, possesses strong time management, critical thinking, organizational skills, and has the ability to multitask.
- Applicants should be comfortable working within a team environment, as well as being productive independently with limited supervision.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree of Landscape Architecture or Master’s Degree of Landscape Architecture from an accredited Landscape Architecture program is required.
- 1-5 years of internship and/or full-time work experience within the state of Texas in a similar fast paced and detail-oriented office environment.
