Landscape Designer

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Excellent design, graphic, computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Land-FX, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of construction document preparation, and familiarity with plant materials suited to Texas.
• Knowledge of construction methods and experience in construction administration and on-site construction observation
• Good understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions 
• Ability to solve problems and complete creative designs using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
• Proficient hand drafting and sketching abilities resulting in strong conceptual designs.
• Highly motivated and passionate about design, possesses strong time management, critical thinking, organizational skills, and has the ability to multitask.
• Comfortable working within a team environment, as well as being productive independently 

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience preferred

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
