Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be an effective ‘team player’ who has a demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and possess qualities of professionalism, assertiveness, maturity, judgment, and discretion
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate and communicate with leadership and Stantec project personnel
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills with a proven commitment to follow-up and follow-through
• Ability to multi-task, adapt and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a very dynamic environment; the role requires the ability to handle interruptions and balance numerous and shifting priorities, and assist with multiple projects simultaneously
• Enthusiasm for developing a career in the engineering consulting industry
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven track record of synthesizing large amounts of data to identify areas of opportunities and/or risks
• Ability to apply detailed solutions to “big picture” thinking
• Able to achieve the objectives of the Project Risk Review practice without impeding the project pursuit, and ensuring value is added throughout the risk review process
• Proficiency in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar
• Knowledge of engineering and construction terms and contracting practices
• Knowledge of data analysis software and business analytics would be an asset
• Knowledge of data extraction, exploration/visualization, analytical, and reporting tools is an asset
• 1-3 years (min) of experience within the engineering consulting and construction management field

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
