Education & Experience

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably with teams focused in the data domain.
• 10+ years of experience with the design and development of data products such as data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores that involve cross-system integration.
• Demonstrated experience applying data modelling approaches such as Data Vault, Inmon or Kimball.
• Familiarity with data management and data governance concepts and methods.
• Familiarity with emerging concepts such as data mesh, data fabric, and data contracts.
• Experience with creating self-serve capabilities for business users to consume data for use in analytics and applications. 
• Experience with embedding components of data governance, such as data ownership, stewardship and data quality, into operating models of technical teams.
• Understanding and experience working with agile development practices.
• Excellent knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a data analytics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present technical requirements of proposed solution.

Desirables:

• Experience with finance, HR, and project related data.
• Experience with leveraging data from ERPs, particularly Oracle.
• Familiarity with Jira, Gitlab, Confluence and the wider Microsoft Power Platform suite is desirable.
• Previous experience in a sales or consulting role.
