Manager, Technical Studies
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent computer skills with MS Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software; able to conduct system studies using Aspen OneLiner, ETAP, SKM, PSSE, WinIGS, CYME, CYMECAP, PowerWorld. Must also be adept at various power system modeling software and have the capability to utilize skillset in various programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical system operation and initiate knowledge of power system studies and data requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong soft skills; good presence with customers/clients in conveying technical knowledge; solid team skills in your relationships with team members and external business relationships.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 8 years of experience in the power industry performing system studies.
Professional Engineer registration is required. Ability to obtain license in multiple states is preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
