Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record in writing long-form articles.
- Proven experience developing responses to detailed requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skill.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign,and web-based interfaces.
- Ability to compose compelling, well developed stories in partnership with technical staff.
- Talent for proactively finding stories and identifying opportunities to develop them into content, marketing campaigns and thought leadership articles.
- Fundamental understanding of the media landscape (traditional, social).
- Active fluency with social media channels, their use/value and application in elevating brands in the corporate setting.
- Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently.
- Continuous learning and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability identify and engage practitioners in promotional activities.
Education and Experience
Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or an equivalent level of experience.2-4 years of progressive experience in a marketing and proposal development role in a medium- to large-sized organization.
