Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Thorough understanding of CAD Standards.
- Ability to As-build Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Piping Plans, sections and isometrics.
- Ability to work in AutoCAD model space/paper space to generate complete piping construction deliverable package, including: P&IDs, Plot Plan, Piping Plans, Isometric Details, Tie-in details/demolition details, Tank/vessel appurtenance drawings.
- Understands principals of pipe thermal expansion.
- Ability to transpose Piping and Instrumentation Diagram information, symbols and callouts.
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the team.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of software programs including AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Adobe Acrobat. PDMS and Microstation experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of advanced 3D geometry.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
- Eager to learn with strong listening and critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Field experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to write clear, thorough technical reports.
- Proven problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.Prior to employment with Stantec, this position will require the successful passing of a drug screen.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3-7 years of experience.Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
