Mechanical Co-op Student

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience with AutoCAD as a drafting/design tool is essential. Experience with Revit is considered an asset but is not required. 
• Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought. 
• Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others. 
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material. 
• Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from Senior Engineers. 
• Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Experience with Carrier HAP and familiarity with provincial and federal building codes is considered an asset. 

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering degree or Technology program at a Canadian University or College.
• Co-op/Internship experience is considered an asset. 

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for extended periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
