Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • High attention to detail, strength in time management and organizational skills, and good written and oral communication
     
  • Strong project management credentials, including but not limited to scoping, establishing schedules, project plan development, and routine tracking/reporting throughout project implementation
  • Proven capabilities/expertise in planning and design of stormwater and BMP projects
  • Knowledge of H&H practices, modeling methods, and design
  • Skill in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project)
  • Previous experience with XPSWMM, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, GIS, MICROSTATION/GEOPAK strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner, both in writing and in person, with clients, employees, and the general public
  • Ability to present to both small and large groups on a wide range of projects
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a highly automated design office environment
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
  • Ability to interpret sketches, engineering drawings, and other similar material
  • Prior to employment, this position will require the successful passing of a pre-employment drug screen.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in H&H/stormwater engineering and modeling studies
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience with large project or contract management responsibilities required
  • Bachelor of Science (minimum) in Civil, Water Resources, or other closely related degree required Masters preferred
  • Professional Licensure (PE) highly preferred
  • Project Management Professional (CFM & PMP) certification preferred

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
