Municipal Project Engineer

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with AASHTO, Caltrans, MUTCD, and various local agency standards.
  
• Possess excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  
• Ability to discuss and deliver on task assignment deliverables, schedule, and budget targets.
  
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with others to deliver accurate and complete deliverables.
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
  
• Self-starter who can work independently and with a team
  
• Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record. 
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related degree.
  
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Required. California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
  
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
  

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
