Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience using Trimble total stations and GPS receivers required
- Experience in highway and heavy construction a plus
- Experience in Civil 3D and/or Land Development Desktop preferred
- Experience with Trimble Business Center, Terramodel, and AutoCAD preferred
- Capability to perform field survey tasks
- Ability to gather and organize survey research and records
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents
- Ability to prepare calculations, alignments, and instructions for field work
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required as driving company vehicles is a requirement of the job
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with a project team
- Prior to employment with Stantec you will be required to pass a drug screen.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5-6 years of experience.
