Payroll Tax Analyst
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Knowledge of both United States and Canada legislation an asset.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience of Oracle EBS Payroll, Oracle HRMS, and Oracle Time and Labor a plus.
Extensive working knowledge of payroll and financial information systems.
Experience with various report writing tools.
Ability to analyze data and provide recommended solutions.
Highly proficient with MS Office products including advanced Excel.
Excellent verbal written communication skills.
Able to represent the payroll department in a professional and positive manner at all employee levels within Stantec, with newly acquired companies, and with industry peers and clients.
Liaison to field, internal personnel, and interdepartmental staff to resolve escalated payroll issues and inquiries.
Education and Experience
APA Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
3–5 years of payroll experience with emphasis on payroll tax for large scale company's.
Knowledge of all aspects of a full cycle payroll is required.
Strong knowledge of multi-state taxation and legislation.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
