Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Requisite knowledge, interpretation, and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable port design standards and guidelines
  • Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation.
  • Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team.
  • Working knowledge of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions and developing jurisdictional experience and contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite and SAP2000
  • Developing ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agencies.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer is preferred, EIT will be considered. Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience. 
  • Previous experience in port and marine terminals design working with multidiscipline teams on a wide variety of Ports & Marine Terminals projects including a variety of marine structures is required.
  • Demonstrated technical skills on projects and in particular marine structures including wharves, piers and jetties.
