Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Oil & Gas Upstream involving production surface facilities & treatment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, Power point, etc.)
- Strong desire to learn and work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and applicable ASME, API, ANSI, NACE codes and standards.
- Working knowledge of process simulation software: HYSYS, Pro-II, and Pro-max
- Working knowledge of hydraulics software: Pipe Phase, Pipe-Flo, Pipe-Sim, Fathom
- Working knowledge of: PHA Pro, Vessel Rating, Heat Exchanger rating, etc.
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
- Prior to employment with Stantec, this position will require the successful passing of a drug screen.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. 2-5 years of oil and gas industry experience. Working experience in Upstream (production) oil & gas background a plus but will consider those with downstream (refining) experience.
Typical office environment working with computers at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
