Project Controls Coordinator
Your Capabilities and Credentials
• Must be proficient in MS Office skills, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communications in both office and virtual environments a must.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work on several projects or tasks at once, manage time, organize, and set priorities and make timely decisions.
• Strong understanding of EVM principles, methodologies, and practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret EVM data to assess project performance and identify variances.
• A/E industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Financial/Cost systems (Oracle, Prolog, etc.) is preferred.
• Prior work in project controls / project assistant role is a plus.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, capable of prioritizing and communicating to multiple groups across multiple offices.
• Positive attitude with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including attention to detail.
• Willing to take initiative and ownership of areas of responsibility to meet project requirements.
• Must be organized and organize workflow in a proactive manner.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and finance professionals
• Power BI and Access, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam experience a plus.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in finance, business, engineering, construction management or related is preferred with minimum of 1-year appropriate course work in project management, accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of project and program management experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience performing financial analysis, cost management, and other project controls functions over the life of a project.
Position will primarily work in an office setting.
