Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Understanding of project/program control concepts and ability to effectively communicate those concepts to others.
- Ability to recognize when technical problems are developing and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, analyzing, and maintaining financial data, cost controls, budgets and detailed and summary reports
- Demonstrated experience in developing, analyzing, and maintaining project/program schedules using Primavera P6
- Experience with Project Integration Management, Project Time Management, and Project Cost Management as defined by the Project Management Institute including project definition, scheduling, cost control, planning, earned value analysis, forecasting, report production, cash flow maintenance and change management
- Ability to check own work for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, with an emphasis on advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables, formula creation and formula refining
- Experience working within virtual collaborative work environments
- Experience working on complex multi-discipline water/wastewater capital programs/projects is desired
- Experience working with collaborative platforms such as SharePoint is desired
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project cost and schedule controls required.
7-10+ years of experience preferred.
Experience with Primavera P6 is required and advanced use is desired.
