Project Delivery Lead

About the role:

Due to ongoing success and additional work from the Hastings District Council Professional Services Panel Contract, we need a Project Delivery Lead who will ensure delivery of the programme in a timely manner, on budget and to the desired high-quality standards.  All this whilst developing strong client relationships within Hastings District Council

Day to day tasks would involve:

•          Collaboration in building long term relationships within Stantec and Hastings District Council
•          In conjunction with the team leads, ensure that the team has appropriate skills and experience for current and future projects
•          Assist with workload forecasting and resource planning
•           Liaise regularly with project managers and project technical leads to provide updates to Hastings District Council, highlighting any known delivery risks to projects and the overall programme
•           Ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed the client’s expectations, whilst being realistic with delivery times and budgets.
•           Develop and mentor staff in key delivery processes and procedures.
•          Contribute to proposal and bid development to support business development activities

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• Understand the different phases of projects and be able to make informed quality business decisions. 
•            Be a good role model for the team and motivate employees to perform to high standards.
•            Around 7 years’ experience in Engineering or Project Management with good client relationship development or project delivery skills.
