Project Engineer/Bridge Inspector

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions
• General knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation and any other relevant design software
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
• Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues and solutions to others
• Available to travel in/out of Kentucky periodically (15-25%)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

 Education and Experience

 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree a plus. Minimum one of year bridge inspection experience. Successful completion of FHWA-NHI (National Highway Institute) Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridge training a plus. Experience with rope access/climbing inspection methods a plus.

 
Position will work in an office setting and require field work.
