Project Manager- Education
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Licensed architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing projects.
- Passionate about educational design
- Proficient in REVIT and other design/documentation software
- Copious experience with project financials
- Excellent communicator (verbal, written, drawing)
- Well-versed in a host of applicable codes and regulations
- Well-versed in systems and materials, means and methods, and industry standards
- Able to rigorously adhere to management and design best practices including best practices in sustainable design
- Able to mentor junior staff and grow the professional capacity of the studio and region
- Willing to collaborate with leadership to market the firm and develop business
- Task-driven, well-organized, open-minded and curious, an excellent drawer, an effective leader and communicator, a rigorous thinker, and accountable to his/her team, firm leadership, and, ultimately, the project and client.
Education and Experience
Professionally accredited degree in architecture or equivalent; architectural license; ability to meet NCARB requirements for licensure in other states
Submission Requirements:
Letter of interest, resume with list of representative projects, and sample of portfolio work.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
