Your Opportunity
Your role as a contributor on our Buildings team is to work collaboratively within our teams on the planning and creation of sustainably designed, fiscally responsible, award-winning designs Your experience ensures that you are familiar with the design and construction procedures for both traditional and Ontario AFP procurement process You will collaborate with team members to contribute to the final deliverables as required under instruction from Project Leaders.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of project specific output specifications for AFP projects in the Health Sector in Ontario.
- Collaborate with large multidisciplinary teams with numerous stakeholders.
- Advocate for and inspire innovation, creativity, critical thought and design excellence both internally and externally.
- Actively support and contribute to the PM Team.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills.

- Exhibits maturity and cultural awareness internally and externally.
- Knowledge of building construction systems, constructability, materials, and industry associated standards.
- Understanding of the construction process including tendering and scheduling.
- Familiarity with functional programming and output specification development, including assisting with publishing updates.
- Familiarity with P3 processes in order to provide assistance with publishing variations and Project Requirement Conformance.
- Familiarity with clinical and engineering terminologies is an asset.
- Skilled at coordination and document management between multidisciplinary teams.
- Able to support project manager with some tasks such as assisting with meeting coordination, tracking of submission materials, design meetings and minutes, gathering input and responses from team members for RFIs etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum experience of 5 years in project management and coordination roles.
Typical hybrid office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
