Quantity Surveyor

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Intermediate level of understanding of construction estimates.
• Knowledge of the construction industry - development, contracting & consultant services. Focus on water and wastewater facility construction, such as wastewater treatment plants, large diameter conveyance and other facilities typical at water infrastructure program is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including Excel.

Education and Experience

• 5 years of related construction experience
• Qualification to Degree level in a relevant cost or construction related subject will be beneficial.

Typical field work that may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
