Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Lead teams in project management of complex multiple concurrent projects
- Expert level knowledge of directives, programs, standards, and administrative procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Proficient in AutoCAD and any other relevant design software
- Possesses broad technical knowledge within the transportation practice, structure engineering sciences
- Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule
- Expert level understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions
- Ability to lead, participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues and solutions to others
- Technical expert in all relevant areas of design and understanding of various design methods
- Ability to make independent decisions on highly technical or complex work methods and procedures within transportation practice/structural specialization
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering or related field & Licensed Professional Engineer. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum of 25 years of experience.Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
