Regional Sector Leader - Mining, Minerals and Meta

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Broad general knowledge of the Mining, Minerals and Metals industry, including strong familiarity with other Stantec services required to support delivering projects to Stantec’s Clients 
• Preexisting relationships and experience in working with mining clients from initial positioning through to contract award 
• Demonstrated leadership ability to engage, connect, and motivate others as well as empower, mentor, teach, and promote others
• Ability to influence teams and stakeholders 
• Project delivery experience working with a diverse and distributed staff and client base
• In-depth knowledge of Stantec’s service offerings, processes, quality control standards, and industry standards
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work outside normal hours of operation

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a science related discipline or engineering 
• Registered Professional Engineer is preferred
• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility
