- Understanding real estate transactions.
- Understanding of right of way laws and process.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation's requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret land survey documents and right of way maps.
- Familiarity with the provisions of the Federal Uniform Act as it applies to the acquisition of property.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Education and Experience
- Real estate license preferred. Strong people skills and negotiation abilities are required.
- Position will primarily work in a virtual office setting; will require some field work.
Initial assignment will be in Montgomery County, MD with potential for work in the Fairfax County VA area.
