Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience with risk management practices 
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the development of risk strategy and risk planning on large infrastructure projects or programs
  • Detailed knowledge and ability to implement best practices for quantitative risk analysis for cost and schedule
  • Strong ability to organize information, independently develop and analyze data.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction terms and contracting practices.
  • Working knowledge of project scheduling practices
  • Working knowledge of capital estimating practices
  • Ability to adapt and excel in fast-paced, high intensity environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to develop and maintain project team and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams
  • Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and make timely decisions
  • Positive attitude with strong relationship building skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of tools including PowerPoint

Education and Experience

University degree or diploma/certificate in a related field.
Minimum of eight years of experience on projects showing increasing responsibility and aptitude for risk management practices.
Attainment of a recognized designation such as PMI-RMP or AACE DRMP is preferred.
Proficiency in the use of risk management tools such as @Risk, Acumen, ARM is an asset
